Modesty

I just felt a lot of shame.

Modesty, purity, abstinence.

These and many other words like them are good words in themselves, but they become trigger words for many Christians today, largely because of how the church has gone about conversations about modesty and purity and abstinence from sexual relationships outside of marriage.

Women in particular have been greatly shamed and in many ways harmed by how Christians have talked about and even enforced certain standards of modesty and purity.

Yeah, those are all fantastic questions.

I am curious.

So what would you advise in a scenario, going back to kind of a person on stage and let's just, because we are kind of focused on women here, but again, want to reiterate yet again, Modesty is a Christian principle.

It applies to men and women.
