if we can reorient on what is, like, driving that desire, it's probably the fact that, and this is what Jung would say again, I think, and he was definitely arguing this in, like, Modern Man in Search for a Soul and stuff like that, is that we have this, like, unmet transcendent thirst that we're always, like, testing, "Is this the thing that's gonna meet that? Is this the thing that's gonna meet that?" And it's so obvious with something like UFOs, um, or even politics, honestly.

Like, you can, you can do a lot of the same psychology with, like, projection onto whoever's into the White House, in the White House, good or bad-

Hmm.

And Jung's work, Modern Man in Search of a Soul, my husband read that to me when I was recovering from a miscarriage.

That made a deep impression on both of us.

And we began to read more books about Jung after that

Jung.

And then we both went into Jung analysis as a result.

So I'd say Modern Man in Search of a Soul by Jung, Cosmic Consciousness by Richard Buck.

I think it was called Cosmic Consciousness.
