Yeah, it's a Modern Horizons 2.

Yes, they've actively said that they're not going to do plains or islands right just because of like boil and stuff yeah you don't want to really you don't want to flash fire your opponent i guess yeah like drat of the elysian grove does it but like there's cards that make everything make things all land types yeah which is like you know whatever but yeah they don't want to do like a yeah i think it's i think it's plains and island right

Um, I took Polluted Delta, pack one, pick one, which, you know, that's a pretty easy pick when you don't know [laughs] what you're doing.

Um, and then I followed it up with Master of Death, which is a card from Modern Horizons 2, I think, that at the beginning of your upkeep, if Master of Death is in your graveyard, you may pay one life if you do return it to your hand.

This is really good with a free loot every turn because it's something you can put in the graveyard for free and basically draws a card every turn.

It's like, um, Squee, Goblin Nabob, but costs you a life every turn.

I haven't played this card in a long time, but it also feeds into the Necroscribe, sort of the Pillar 1 of Necroscribe here.

If you don't remember, it's from Modern Horizons 2 or 3...

That was back when the list ran, like, two Atraxa.

Um, and so every card in that deck was legal since Modern Horizons 2, by the way.

Interesting.

But it wasn't until a year later that that shell became a thing, 'cause people were playing the blue-black scam deck, right?

But there is kind of an unfortunate aspect with the nature of Arena's smaller card pool.

More recent sets, like I'm fine with you adding strong cards from the standard legal releases, but something about the small card pool with just one of the sets on Arena being Modern Horizons 3 and Modern Horizons 2 is on the client is these are tremendously high-powered sets.

And there are cards from Modern Horizons sets that I think are excellent, that are really great, play well, and are at reasonable power levels for a cube.
