There needs to be a show where you can work...

This, I think, was either season one or season two of Modern Family.

So, you know, she was like a... burgeoning name um also this is the most surprising thing uh this is directed by steven herrick who directed bill and ted and mighty ducks three musketeers mr holland's opus and 101 dalmatians like this is an actual established filmmaker

is this supposed to be a kid's movie

He was like, come to LA.

He was doing Modern Family.

Right, exactly.

And so I kind of like went back and then came back.

So I was on the 20th lot running around.

Yeah, he was directing episodes of that.

Yeah.

And so they have a little clip of him commenting on what made Modern Family so great.

And I remember Modern Family was the first show.

I'm sure there were others.

But it was the first family, first show where the woman, they would play off of each other and she would do something quirky and then he would.

She did not learn this from a Marine, by the way.

She learned this from Phil Dunphy from Modern Family.

Now you

probably know it already.

And I just wanted to – if you could imagine, it's like a styled – a deliberately styled throwback to television from the sort of 1990s into the 2000s.

It's a mix of clips of The Simpsons, Modern Family, Seinfeld of SpongeBob SquarePants, movies like Home Alone.

All the characters kind of almost like – bringing you into that sort of nostalgic era of television, almost like saying this is warm and familiar, it's playful, but actually it's a very modern TV app that is all about Trump's politics.

So it's this crazy disconnect.
