Mnet

virtually at the same time as Dion's new TV series, Invisible, which is based on his previous novel, Blood Safari, and will be hitting our screens this coming Wednesday.

I know I'm now sounding like a stuck record, but please make sure you're watching it Wednesday, 8 o'clock on MNET.

So a very busy time indeed for one of this country's most beloved writers and one of its busiest writers.

We're really glad you could fit us in, Dion, in between book launches and TV screenings and press junkets.

Thank you for that, and neatly answering Edward's question about the inspiration for fever.

Thank you.

Now, while we're talking about current affairs and overlap with your books, let's talk a little bit about the new adaptation of Blood Safari, which is, again, it's coming to the screens on MNET next week, Wednesday.

The first episode will air at 8 o'clock.

So Dion is part of our production company.

And the first Dion Mayer project we did was Trackers with Mnet, which luckily was a great success.

And we've done a few since then.

But Blood Safari was one of the first books when we started working together that I read and I went to Dion, we need to do this.

We have it there, we can use it, we can, you know, we have people like that are very influential on these platforms.

I mean, you can in a minute name 10 influencers that have got more followers and reach than flipping Mnet does.

Yeah.

Um, leverage those things, and I wanna hear each political party make a statement that says, "This is our position on cyclists."

You have your 12DC connection.

So if you're looking for MNET, you can hook that up.

Like I said, we have a loss name control that we created for this system, which works pretty well.

Once me and Bryn actually did get it hooked up, great on and off function, fan function, and functional settings can be set through there.

And remember, for more movie suggestions and reviews, you can check out Spling's website, www.splingmovies.com. Max, let's start with a listener question from Jenny in Nkomas.

She writes, is it possible to find out from Mnet if we'll be getting either the latest America's Got Talent or Britain's Got Talent this year? We normally do, but it seems to be getting a bit late in the year.

Well, Jenny, we reached out to the channel and they got back to us saying that at this point, neither show is appearing on the schedules for the coming weeks.

And we will, however, keep our eyes open and let you know if they do appear in the final quarter.

It's made by Baz Luhrmann and is intended as a follow-up to the 2022 biopic on the King of Rock and Roll.

It includes rare archival footage his team uncovered while researching the previous film.

That one is on Mnet Wednesday at 7 p.m. Now, moving on to the British channels.

I know many of our listeners have been eagerly awaiting the new season of Strictly Come Dancing.

we had a lot guys I'm sure it's still at my brother's house

jeepers 011-8838-947 we've told you ours tell us yours what is the movie that your family recorded and you usually recorded it off Mnet Because you'd look on the TV guide, you're like, ooh, Dirty Dancing is going to play.

And then you'd sit there and you're ready.

And as soon as it started playing, you'd press record and now you have it.

So you didn't have to rely on Mnet to play it or going to the video shop to hire

it.

We had, my friend came over.
