However, this was still a great match.

Mizuki and Uda Takami never cease to amaze me.

We have seen these two really gel instantly together when we saw them team up in the Max Heart Tournament earlier this year.

Shoko Nakajima is one of the best wrestlers in this company, one of the best.

Again, Momo Sato was great.

Shoko Nakajima is just, I'm never not going to be impressed with her.

But Mizuki and Uta Takami are just really, really chef's kiss.

I can see them maybe at the Itteon show or maybe at a Cork and Hall show leading into the new year.

Now we start picking up the actual wrestling.

Mizuki and Uda Takami taking on Shoko Nakajima and Momo Sato.

We already kinda knew the finish going in here.

We kinda knew what the finish was gonna be.

However, this was still a great match.

Mizuki and Uda Takami never cease to amaze me.

We have seen these two really gel instantly together when we d- we saw them team up in the, um, the Max Heart Tournament-

Mm-hmm

Mikaabata at 26 felt v- very right to me.

Um, Mizuki at 30 felt very right to me.

Mei Sera at 37 was right.

Erisu Endo at 39 felt, felt really like the right place for her as well.

That's fun.

Anyway, this match went kinda long for a Misao match.

Mizuki and Utami versus Momo Sato and Shoko K- uh, Nakajima.

Good match.

Match three, another very typical undercard match here.

It was Mizuki and Uda Takami beating Shoko Nakajima and Momo Sato.

Mizuki pinned Momo in nine minutes and 44 seconds with the Southern Cross.

Just really not much to note here either, like two and three quarters again.

The reason why I picked this show to review, by the way, if people don't know, is because we were supposed to have one more Mario Gold show, but it did not come out in time on their VOD.

September 12th, the fall tour in Shinkiba, where she will face another up-up girl in Shino Suzuki.

On September 22nd, the fall tour in Ryugoku, she's going to be teaming up with Mizuki.

They're going to be taking on a yet-to-be-announced team.

I told you, TJPW is really on a kick for mystery teams the past two weeks.

That's an interesting team, putting one of the most tenured members of the roster in there with one of the least tenured members of the roster.

Momo, I'm sure, is going to learn a heck of a lot in this match alone from Shoko.

They're going to take on the team of Mizuki and Uda Takami, so nice to see Mizuki and Uda Takami continue to tag together.

Daydream is going to have a bit of a tune-up match.

Yuka is also on the cusp of announcing her graduation from TJPW, what happened in about two months' time from the date of this match.

It's also worth noting that this is Yuka's second match this day, earlier in the day she won the Princess Tag Titles with Mizuki.

I've noticed in so many of these matches that we've talked about with Yuka that she always has kinesio tape like on her neck and her traps and so naturally the first thing that she does in this match is hit a springboard flipping dive to the outside and lands right on the back of her neck and that very quickly became the story of this match since the tape was so visible.

but I have to imagine that some of that was, like, very real for Yuka.

This is also the last of Maki in AEW, and I'm really curious if we're going to see her back now that she's affiliated with Stardom.

I think there's a little bit of a stronger relationship between Stardom and AEW, so I'll be curious if Maki pops up in the near future.

The main event of this show actually sees Mizuki make her AEW debut, where she takes on her mentor Emi Sakura.

And Mizuki entered to some very generic music here.
