Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X

We need to have a fast car and we need to have a car that does justice to the Evo in the name.

And so we bought an Evo 10.

We bought Naren Kumar's Evo 10.

Now Mitsubishi launched the Evo in India.

That was one of the last stories I did at Overdrive.

It would put a big fat smile on your face.

But you had to get over the fact that the launch was very lazy because that was done to preserve the gearbox.

then naren who was the reigning international rally champion he bought i think one of the first evos uh we did a handover to him in coimbatore at the rally track after he won one of the rallies and that car naren's car that's what we bought when we started evo magazine so it was there on the fast fleet for the first year until we for a year and a half until we finally sold it off so we had an evo 10 on the evo fleet And that time I wanted an Evo more than I wanted a 911.

I think you were there that year that the guy brought the 4G63 swapped Evo X. I think that kind of blew everybody's

mind.

Yeah, I remember that one.
