So Supergirl had a lot of issues.

It had that side quest feel where it felt like not a fully fleshed out movie.

So the new Baywatch finds the wild child legacy character, Hobie Buchannon, which is played by Stephen Amell, serving as the Baywatch captain, following in his legendary father Mitch's footsteps, David Hasselhoff.

Remember him? Heard of him? Um, Hobie's world is turned upside down when his daughter, Charlie Vale, played by Jessica Belkin, shows up on his doorstep eager to carry on the Buchanan family re- re- legacy.

And then, of course, it crashes into the water, but the propellers aren't bent as it's sinking.

But what really killed me, though... was when our main character, is his last name, what is it, Buchanan? What's his last name? Mitch Buchanan's son or whatever, finds out he has a daughter.

And then we see him lamenting, well, I've always wanted to be a father.

you know and i'm i'm looking at this going is this am i supposed to like this is these are like all soap opera things blown up to the nth degree oh that's

I haven't.

Mitch Buchanan is a great dad.

Uh, I believe the Mazda Miata, when it made its debut, it was, it had an appearance on Baywatch.

So if you remember, Mitch Buchannon, played by, you know, David Hasselhoff, he had his boss, was an older-ish guy, and I guess he was retiring or whatever, and Mitch was gonna get his job.

And he was going off into the sunset in a c- in a red convertible Miata that was brand new.

So you're out on the beach, and there's a, there's a lifeguard there, hopefully.
