Great article, by the way, uh, featuring, uh, a lot of good interviews, including with Futurum's own friend of the show, Mitch Ashley, um, and others.

Really good insight.

Um, you know, the next generation of frontier models are so much better at, at being able to intuit, uh, and that's playing into a lot, and getting accurate reverse engineering up front.

I'm Mitch Ashley.

I lead, uh, both CIO and software practices, software development at, uh, Futurum Group.

Brad Shimmin, my partner, colleague, leader of data analytics, uh, all kinds of s- infrastructure, you know, put it whatever you want after it, but he does it.

The intention is presumably to make it easy for you to run the same workers on-prem as you'd run on the Cloudflare infrastructure.

And that's good, but as Mitch Ashley from our Futurum group team says, We need the same tooling.

We need to have the same state and routing capabilities on-prem as are provided in the Cloudflare network.

And if that's not the case, if there isn't the ability to use the same tools, the same concepts and just apply wherever you need this runner to to actually operate these this worker to actually operate uh it's not going to be useful to customers if if you have to essentially treat them as two different platforms with two different sets of management of state and control so hopefully hopefully things will progress to the point where you can run essentially a hybrid environment where some of your workers run on-prem and some of them work inside the Cloudflare network, depending upon what the function is for them.
