Yeah, it was, it was a great panel.

Um, and we had a couple of other panelists, one from the private sector, Commerce Bank, and then one from MIT Solve.

And what we were really trying to do is just unpack what's going on in the sustainable finance market today, and really s- specialize around the question of, like, how do we get capital flowing to resilience and adaptation type projects? So the title, Fighting Fire Finance with ...

[laughs] Fighting Fire with Finance, is really just around how do we prevent wildfire risk, but extend that to any natural disaster that we're seeing.

We have 15 countries as members, the majority from Latin America, but in addition to that, we have a few countries from Asia and one from Europe.

And with me today, we have an amazing panel, Mr. Sven Schmidt, Head of International Trade Finance Operations at Commerzbank AG, Mrs. Elly Moriarty, Program Lead Economic Prosperity at MIT Solve, and Mr. John Onglim, Global Head of Sustainable Finance at BMO Capital Markets.

Um, can you tell me what you're, what you're looking to take from Solve Challenge Finals and this whole experience in New York City?

Well, um, being with MIT Solve is a, a very long time dream of mine.

Uh, I've actually applied three times.

[laughs]

Uh, the network is the most important for me.

I, I love meeting the people here, 'cause there's just so much knowledge and so much, uh, experience behind everyone's background.

And I would love to be connected with everyone, and just keep growing my network through MIT Solve, actually.
