Mississippi kite

and

it's endless.

There's dozens of these things where I didn't expect like Mississippi kites are nesting right around here.

Did you know that?

It's weird.

We had a small-tailed kite last year, which is a tropical bird that, with warming, is working its way up the coast.

I've also seen a Mississippi kind of saw, but not counted because it didn't migrate.

But they, too, are beginning to nest further and further north as as the climate warms.

Probably most unusual passering we've seen is Townsend Solitaire, which is a even not too common in the Western United States.

Turkey Vulture.

Mississippi Kite.

Black Vulture.

Sharp-shinned Hawk.
