Missionary Baptists

Those are ones I had to either catechisms or confirmation classes.

I've also been baptized in United Methodist, Disciples of Christ, Evangelical Free, Assemblies of God Church, Independent Charismatic Church, a Missionary Baptist, American Baptist, and multiple times in a Southern Baptist Church.

And so I wasn't trying to get cleaner.

I wasn't trying to get closer to God.

Yes.

And of course, Growing up in the Bible Belt, you know, I grew up in Missionary Baptist.

Okay.

I know everybody got their own denomination, but Missionary Baptist, all the carpet was red.

Okay, okay, okay.

The blood was everywhere.

I think it's four-tenths of a mile.

Big church, Payne Avenue, Missionary Baptist with plenty of parking, very flat so voters with a disability can get in and out.

And it's been a great, great location for us.

The church loves having us there.

Yeah.

Missionary Baptist.

Uh-huh.

Yes.

Yeah, so I grew up black church, Methodist.

Then I played with Missionary Baptist a little bit, but I went to a play called Heaven's Gates and Hell's Flames.

Oh, no. I'm triggered.

Yes.
