NHRA enters Indianapolis this weekend for their crown jewel, the 72nd Cornwall Quality Tools U.S. Nationals, and what's notable is the massive entry list, even for Indianapolis standards, as there's 85 entries across the main four Mission Foods series categories, including 45 Top Fuel and Funny Car entries for the largest fields at Indy in almost 15 years, which is great to see.

Uh, John Hunter Nemechek will not return to the 42 car at Legacy Motor Club next year on the NASCAR side, and Josh Berry is now favored to take over that ride in 2027.
