Missile launch facility

I started researching decommissioned military properties in early twenty seventeen.

There are more of them than most people realize.

The Cold War built an enormous amount of infrastructure across the American Midwest and Great Plains, missile silos, command centers, radar stations, underground bunkers.

And when that era ended, a lot of that infrastructure was decommissioned, sometimes sold, sometimes just closed up and left.

The government doesn't typically advertise these sales.
