And Jordan is closer, it's farther away from Iran, sorry, but closer to the core of what CENCOM is now at this point, which is really in Israel.

So in a way, Iran is clearing a path through this very thick forest of missile defenses and radars that the U.S. has developed over many, many years to contain the Iranian missile program.

Spent

billions of dollars on it.

We're living through, it seems like, the second war, the second round of a broader conflict.

And what's happening now is Iran shaping conditions and setting the stage for the third and potentially final round of this conflict.

And the more that these missile defenses in Jordan are destroyed and the more that they're drained down, throughout the region, the more favorable Iran's terms will be for that last round of the conflict.

I will add the caveat that we don't know the state of Iran's missile magazine.

In a larger sense, following the recent deployment in Lithuania, Estonia, and Romania early this August, this deployment marks NATO Allied Air Command's new unified approach to air defence.

Under the Integrated Air and Missile Defence Framework, air policing will be subsumed under NATO's comprehensive air defence posture.

German Major General Frank Grafe, Chief of Staff for NATO Allied Air Command, said, The Belgian Air Force's assumption of this vital mission in Iceland marks a significant move to a single integrated air and missile defence posture.

Allied Air Command continues to strengthen NATO's air defence umbrella with a multi-layered, 360-degree approach involving assets and capabilities across all operational domains, to address emerging and future threats, whether crewed or uncrewed, aircraft or other.

NATO's air policing mission began in 1961 when the Alliance established a standing peacetime capability to safeguard the integrity and security of NATO airspace.

But possibly the most interesting writing comes from a May 11th article written by authors actually affiliated with the PLA Air Force Research Institute, making it especially interesting.

They title it, Air and Missile Defense, Time for Systemic Transformation.

It directly analyzes the Iran conflict and argues traditional air defense systems have structural weaknesses against cheap drones, saturation attacks, and mixed missile drone salvos.

So from the Chinese writing, we know that the PLA is treating Iran's campaign like a live fire war game of their own concepts.

And the surprising part that I found out is that Iran's missile arsenal isn't actually tiny compared to China's before the war.

Estimates put Iran's arsenal at somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000 missiles, and China is believed to have roughly 2,800 to 3,000 missiles of varying ranges from short, medium, and intermediate range ballistic missiles aimed primarily at regional warfare.

However, China's missiles are generally longer range, more precise, and include weapons specifically designed to maneuver around missile defenses and attack American warships and bases that are thousands of miles away.

China has the space-based technologies that they share with Iran during the war in order to make their weapons more accurate.

And, um, and again, you know, we were, uh, this came up yesterday in, uh, some of the audio we played, Roy, where talking about Iron Dome in, uh, and Democrats saying, "Oh, yeah, uh, Barack Obama, uh, stood up Iron Dome for Israel." Uh, and, and now he, and then he, he sent people over, his own political team, to defeat, uh, Benjamin Netanyahu on election day.

Um, but it was Ronald Reagan that started the Missile Defense, uh, Program, and the, and the Democrats mocked it.

They called it Star Wars and, and, uh, which was kind of a cool name for it anyway.

But, um, yeah, the, the, uh, uh, Ronald Reagan administration started Missile Defense, shooting down a bullet with a bullet.

"Oh, that's impossible." And, uh, Reagan made it happen.

Reagan was gonna lead us to nuclear war.
