Mir Yeshiva (Belarus)

He learned with Rabbi Wigdor Miller, another soon to become Gedolim.

And then he went at 17 years old to the Mir Yeshiva.

He traveled overseas.

There were a few boys from America who traveled overseas to Europe to learn.

And you ended up going through just a little bit of a sneak peek.

You ended up going through a bunch of Orthodox institutions all the way to the Mir, which is one of the most prestigious yeshivas in the world.

And another yeshiva that I attended as well.

So another overlap kind of with my own story.

So at that point I finished my two years in Lakewood.

I was 21 and I wanted to go to Israel.

I specifically wanted to go to the Mir.

I think a large part of it was because most of my life I'd spent in smaller yeshivas and I kind of just wanted to experience like a big yeshiva and also they're like, I had heard, I had heard a lot of great things about it.

He's a posek.

He's a rav at the Mir Yeshiva.

He is a prolific author, and he is an absolute expert on shidduchim and shalom bayis, in addition to many other areas in Halakha, Hashkafa, and Jewish life.

And then we are gonna speak with Rabbi Yehuda Geber.

They weren't necessarily the Doleh HaDor.

Rabbi Rucham learned before he became the Mashgiach of the Mir Yeshiva, I think it was before.

He learned Shas for nine years with Bir HaGra.

Rav Olba was Kovea Seder every day.
