[mic squeals] So the timing is, I think the timing's really well, really good [mic squeals] because it's leading into one of the biggest events in coins.

The U.S. Mint's got a lot of cool things planned this year, and they're s- starting to come out with them now, and, uh, that'll, that'll obviously [mic squeals] increase, uh, you know...

People like to The Red Book to find the information about those coins.

Right.

They don't have any about pictures and things like that.

Yeah.

And there's, um, also, like, there's, uh, there's, there's so much excitement about the U.S. Mint stuff this year, and this book has got a lot of that information already in there.

Mm-hmm.

point of contact in order to get a desire, an outcome that is suitable for that submitter, that in-course.

So work with, you also, how does the U.S. Mint come into the picture? Because I know the U.S.

Mint, people have thought about that in the past, and I don't think they have a whole lot more expertise than what you guys would have with counterfeits.

They don't really, I don't know if they get contacted that often, but I know they've been brought into the conversation before about counterfeits.

Yeah, so I'd say recently within the past three years, they've actually stepped up quite a bit and become more involved in the conversations.

But visually, I wouldn't be able to tell you if it's genuine or counterfeit because I've never had that kind of training.

And that's one of the big reasons why we, as the account for forensic section, do not authenticate coins.

But what we will do is we will converse with the agents, we'll get the details to the case, and then we have a memorandum of understanding or memorandum of an agreement with the Mint to actually reach out and send them the case.

The expensive classic coins are mostly graded today.

Uh, but there's, you know, the, the, all the great issues of 2026 from the US Mint.

You know, there's so many interesting issues.

Um, you know, the Trump dollar came out at the ANA show, which is very interesting about the Trump dollar.

We are numismatists, and we think that all coins issued all of a sudden become a collectible one way or the other.

And there are, um, I would say, I'm hearing rumors of up to a million coins in the pipeline at the three grading services to be authenticated and graded of the Trump dollar, and a small portion of those, you know, are the privy coins, uh, that, that were issued in sm- uh, only 250,000 privy coins were issued of the Trump dollar, and those coins drove interest in the regular coin.

So you can buy bags of 100, uh, Trump dollars, you know, from even the US Mint.

I think the premium's $1.60.

So silver and gold spot pricing, obviously a huge deal, but This is the big story too, right? So the semi-quincentennial coins and metals that the U.S.

Mint is going to come out with in celebration of America 250.

A lot of people are just going to say semi-Q.

I'm going to say semi-Q.

I don't like tripping over myself.

Or even America 250.

But either way, I know the Mint is going to make a huge fuss over this program.

I mean, the whole country is going to make a huge fuss over this.

So your first real interest was meant to errors.

And from what I know about you and your collecting, Mint Errors, that's what you kind of decided to pursue, right?

That is correct.

I had a local coin shop in Carl Gables, Florida, and one of the people who worked the shop and that stuff, it was part owner, kind of didn't take me under his ring, but he started saying, this is what you need to do if you want to collect errors.

So there are fascinating areas in that stuff where people want to collect, and those are the hardest ones to find at this point.

Yeah.

One of my friend of ours, and I think Fred was involved in it, did the 100 Greatest Mint Errors.

Do you like that book, or have you seen that in probably a while?
