yeah like baja or the mint 400 um the mint 400 in particular is the roughest race we have all year and so our vehicles have bigger tires more horsepower more suspension they're they're actually the only form of racing that is truly unlimited if you can build it dream it and bring it and race it then it's on so this is

the Ford built and designed truck for this race but it can obviously do other races as well but they've decided that hey we're gonna put it in this race and put it up against all of these hot rod folks for lack of a better term and see what it does

Yeah, no, it's really cool.

So I'm coming into the finish, and Householder finishes it, and I'm going out for my fourth lap right behind him.

So I did lap five of the Mint 400 in 2025, and that is the roughest race course I have ever done, and I was dead after that track.

Yeah.

Yeah.

But the old truck out there, I went to a desert race with, I think it was Travis Marshall when we were in scouts.

He took us out to the Mint 400 race.

And I think there was a little guy, last name's Little, that moved away.

I saw an old, like a Robbie Gordon.

Question number two.

How much money are we told the winner gets from winning the Mint 400 Desert Race? Don.

In 1971, journalist Raoul Duke and his attorney Dr. Gonzo race across the Mojave Desert in a red convertible on their way to Las Vegas.

Duke, already high on mescaline, hallucinates giant bats while the two take inventory of a trunk packed with drugs and alcohol.

Duke has been assigned to cover the Mint 400 motorcycle race.

Along the way, they pick up a hitchhiker, but their bizarre behavior terrifies him enough to run away.

Yeah, I'm going to fly out to Phoenix and join Jerry in a deal.

But driving the race truck that you guys saw going around in the Mint 400.

But don't let that fool you.

You know, somebody, we've had a talk about that with a, with a, a, a vendor the other day, is, you know, in the w- on the West Coast where I'm from, you know, it's easy to get to King of the Hammers.

It's easy to get to Mint 400.

It's easy to get to the Baja 1000.

It's easy to get to the Sand Sport shows.

And that's where we're at.

And I think, you know, here in the Midwest, I don't have a ton of desert experience.

You know, we were out there for the Mint 400.

We've been out-

He's happy.

He's made a career for himself in the race world, doing all that, the Nitro Circus, the Mint 400, the Baja 500, Baja 1000.

He's doing all that stuff.

He has big sponsors.
