It is a legendary planeswalker from one of the Baldur's Gate sets.

Boo is a miniature giant space hamster who accompanies, uh, um, uh, Minsc, who is a...

He's a ranger, but I don't know why he's a ranger, because he's always portrayed in such a way...

Like, he's, of his rage and whatnot like he's a barbarian.

You can, you know, find familiar Boo, and he does damage.

And yeah, you can...

He can actually be thrown by Minsc, [laughs] but-

If customers are happy, they can be sent off on quest to retrieve new ingredients for future rare recipes.

The game is set in the Daylands, of course, of Forgotten Realms fame, and will feature Minsc and Boo as adventuring patrons.

I mean, yeah, I guess that makes sense as a crossover.

Volo himself will eventually also travel to the tavern to write a preview so yeah okay I mean kind of a cool idea I guess but also I don't know when I think D&D I don't think like cozy life management sim kind of game like this right so but hey I know there's a lot of people that love those kinds of games so that's cool that they're making one like that I guess I mean the artwork I saw for it does not at all speak to me in any form or fashion but nonetheless it's interesting i'll be curious to how this one does if it just kind of is a blip on there because there's so many of these like cozy games out there that i don't know if it'll just be a blip on the radar or is this bringing enough uniqueness to it obviously if you're a fan of dnd that's going to be a a big like a fan of cozy games and dnd then that's going to be a pretty big uh selling point i guess but anyway So I see on this article, too, that it just talks about how there's a whole bunch of D&D video games that have been planned for launch in the next couple years.

They've really lent into characters that we know from there.

So Minsc and Boo are patrons that will potentially come to visit the pub.

Volo as well will travel and write a review of the tavern.

So yeah, so they're very much leaning into the lore in the world and making it a cozy wenchy tavern.
