Minor Arcana

This series is so compelling that even just the characters sitting next to each other talking is a great read.

At number five, it's Minor Arcana, number 19, as Jeff Lemire takes us deep back in time to the grandfather of the main character and his link to the town's darkest secrets.

This was a fascinating issue with so many great moments.

At number four, it's Supergirl, number 18 by Sophie Campbell.

If you haven't joined already, it's a good opportunity to jump in.

The week after that, Women's Book Club is doing Minor Arcana Volumes 1 and 2.

Plenty of time now still to get caught up on that.

Cool.

this week the fifth letter

yeah there are a lot no it's the sixth you know yep um real close we're a lot of good books this week and and my first two picks were easy and and the third was a a harder call uh so my apologies to number three batman and robin year one dynamic duos number three uh i guess i was reading in advance on minor threats because maybe that didn't come out this this or not minor threats um The Jeff Linamir one, Minor Arcana.

Forged, number 14. might be the last issue and if it's not the last issue it's coming awfully close we're we're we're number 15 for landing on this 15 is from greg rucka and eric troutman and mike henderson at image comics uh diana comes out this week uh matt wagner and kelly jones dracula book three the count comes out this week uh both archie number two and the forever home and i guess i Minor Arcana, I should have put on this list.

I don't even know what list I should have put because I didn't put Minor Arcana on both lists.

This was deliberately a kind of graphic novel from the get go.

um it's a great book it was a great book then in 2006 it's a great book now uh they just released the anniversary edition with some awesome sketches and original script and all of that stuff in the back matter so definitely worth picking up um i did catch up with minor arcana this was issue 16 to 19 uh this is starting the third fourth No, this is book three.

Book three in the Minor Arcana story.

I think there's one more after this.

Jeff Lemire.

I might be thinking about another book.

So we might be coming towards the end.

But if you're behind on Minor Arcana, if you haven't started, I do really strongly recommend it.

I really enjoyed that.

Minor Arcana number 19 from Jeff Lemire and Boom.

That series is crazy because I just picked up the Deluxe Slipcase edition that just came out for the first arc or whatever.

And now I am stuck buying those versions because I'm a completist and OCD and everything else.

So yes, it's going to be a Minor Arcana year for me.

Number 19 was awesome.

And then Something is Killing the Children, number 50 from James Tenian IV and Werther Delladera from Boom.

Yeah.

Minor Arcana, number 19, from Boob Studios, written by Jeff Lemire, art by Jeff Lemire and Sean Kennerly.

Uh, you know, I think we missed a couple of title, uh, issues of this title.

I could be wrong-

So in your travels, do read, catch up, start, pick your poison.

Minor Arcana, which of course is written and primarily drawn by Jeff Lemire, publisher Boom.

It is the first series he has written and drawn himself since Sweet Tooth.

For those that prefer to have him draw his own stuff.

So I guess enough people are into it, because 18 issues of Boom is no small feat with no end in sight.

So either way, I'm loving it, and I hope some of you are too.

Please do check out Minor Arcana.

Nicely said.
