I feel like it's by, like, kind of Minooka area, no?

Norridge, right? Near Norridge.

Wait a minute.

I, I really f- I, I mean, I feel like I am paying attention to my wife and my household first and foremost, and my family in Minooka, Illinois.

I mean, I, I think that absolutely you're hitting the nail on the head that that's my tendency.

Mm-hmm.

And so, so the name of my series is called A Wonder Is What It Is.

Hmm.

Um, so part of the conversation I love about Wendell Berry is simply I was raised Catholic, and my siblings and I, and my mom and dad are still very, uh, uh, commendable, staunch servants of St. Mary's Church in Minooka, Illinois.

And I was, like, the captain of the altar boys, and I, I was the teenager who cut the grass.

So.

So you got Morris, you got Minooka, they're all going in over there.

Now, everybody's upset and they're feeling like they're not being heard.

Nothing's happening.

If you could share, where were you born and raised, and what did your folks do for a living?

Gosh, well, I was born in a hospital in Joliet, Illinois, which was the big city to us, in a nearby farm town called Minooka, Illinois.

My dad was a school teacher, and my mom became a labor and de- delivery nurse, and I had three siblings, so we had a, a wonderful little six-person family living out on three acres of cornfield.
