Oder dass vielleicht nur 'ne 60stel oder so was, ähm, rein analog funktioniert.

Also viele Kameras, viele, viele, äh, alte Spiegelreflexe, die so aus der Zeit kommen, wo das Ganze dann auch elektrifiziert wurde oder elektronischer wurde, haben noch so 'ne Notzeit.

Also bei der, ähm, äh, Minolta, was ist es hier?

And of course, a whole bunch of three cam R glass, then a few two cams for the SL.

But that's, you know, and it's sort of like I built a kit out from roughly the 21 Super Angulon all the way up to the 80 to 200 F 4.5 Tele Elmer at Zoom, one of the Minolta built models or designed models.

And I have the 180 Apotelliot, which John, you know, it's all John's fault that I got it.

And it's actually, I shot with it this past September up north.

Yeah.

If, if you're curious about trying something and, and, you know, like it, you know, that it's not going to be part of your professional work that you're doing, then it's fine to, to cheap out and maybe, um, you know, like, like, uh, so I have a set of pictures for a Minolta camera, uh, sorry, a set of lenses for a Minolta camera.

And at some point I was curious to try out these manual focus lenses on my, it was back in my Olympus.

So I bought this earth adapter kit for, you know, these Minolta lenses into micro four thirds.

And I had a lot of fun.

playing around with them and messing around with these lenses.

So I'm a novice as far as photography goes.

But then a couple of years after we started getting into digital photography, I realized she had some old Minolta in the closet, an X370.

And, you know, I was like, oh, I wonder if we can get this thing running.

And I bought the batteries and uh, you know, LR 44s and stuck them in there and it started working, started firing.

Also von Leica kriegst du 50 oder 35.

Das 40er haben sie mal in Zusammenarbeit mit Minolta gemacht, ähm, 40 Millimeter Blende zwo, glaub ich, das Rokkor.

Aber das hat halt keinen Strichcode, soweit ich weiß.

Also das 40er werd ich nicht identifizieren können oder ich muss es als 35er oder als 50er ausgeben.

Es ist mir eigentlich viel lieber als 'n 50er oder 'n 35er.

Gibt es nun leider nicht, aber es gibt 40er, hatt ich, ähm, im Slack dann erfahren.

Und zwar gibt's einmal von Minolta das Rokkor 40 Millimeter, Blende zwei wäre eine Variante und es gibt aber auch von Voigtländer das Nokton 40 Millimeter mit offen Blende 1.4.

Und so hab ich dann also die Suche auf dem Gebrauchtmarkt angeworfen und, ähm, Kai hatte einen Link noch geschickt.

my, my most recent, I, I actually, I was, I went to Japan earlier this year and I bought myself a Minolta TC one.

Oh, Oh, one of the, um, is that the one with the analog? Uh, not, no, that's the Nikon.

An incredibly innovative company.

Besides copiers, they invented graphic icons, spin wheels for printers, floppy disks, the telecopier, don't know the fax machine the bk fax machine maybe i just mistyped that the mouse etc many of these ideas were stolen by apple when they hired xerox engineers Their big setback happened around 1980, 81, when they refused to admit that other manufacturers like Savin, Ricoh, and Minolta using wet toner technology could put a dent in their market share.

After all, quote, wet toner is so messy, end quote.

Plus, these manufacturers sold their boxes through office supply stores, which made it easier for consumers to access.
