Minnesota Golden Gophers women's basketball

She'd be third.

I think being a Gopher and then playing here is just like...

Gophers aren't, aren't all that.

It's not like you're playing at UConn.

You're not, like, some amazing blue chip school.

In today's episode, I'm excited to talk with first-time guest, Nicole Jackson.

Nicole is a fellow writer at Hitting the Hardwood, where she covers Gopher women's basketball, and I have been doing a couple articles a month for Gopher men's basketball.

I'm excited to talk with Nicole about how she got into writing some of the teams she's covered.

And then the main focus of today's episode is the barn and what to do with it.

Their Los Angeles trip comes late January, early February at USC on January 30th at UCLA February 2nd.

That starts a stretch of five of the final eight for the Wolverines on the road with with back-to-back roadies at Minnesota and Wisconsin.

So, no question, a challenging finish and a rival-heavy start for the women's side.

On the men's side, obviously interesting that we'll get three chances to watch Michigan in exhibition play, two at Chrysler and then the one against Houston out in Grand Rapids.

You don't want to miss that first episode of Raising the Floor, where I'll be talking to Hitting the Hardwoods' Nicole Jackson.

She's a writer for Gopher Women's Basketball and The Lynx.

But we're going to talk about what to do with the barn.

It's one of the oldest buildings in Division I basketball.
