Minnesota now allows state charter banks and credit unions to offer cryptocurrency custody, safekeeping customers' digital assets or private keys.

To understand more about this new law, we are joined now by Michael Crow, who oversees the Financial Institution Division at the Minnesota Commerce Department.

He is responsible for the department's regulations of state charter banks and credit unions, as well as non-bank financial institutions licensed in Minnesota.
