Then you've got Minneapolis City Hall sort of in the background doing what it's going to do and the factionalization and wildness and craziness there.

It causes a lot of Republicans from other parts of the state to look and be like, how are we supposed to negotiate with these people? You know what I'm saying? I mean, that's it's kind of a culture clash, I guess, in a way.

Yeah.

The Pentagon has taken several steps to limit press access under the leadership of Secretary Pete Hegseth, most notably kicking most of the Pentagon press corps out of the building after news outlets declined to sign a controversial reporting pledge.

At approximately 11.50 a.m., far-right extremist and known racist Jake Lang arrived near Minneapolis City Hall around the corner of 3rd Avenue and 4th Street.

Both vehicles then drove onto the sidewalk in front of City Hall toward a crowd of people that were gathered there.

Minneapolis police officers responded in an attempt to get the vehicles off the sidewalk as well as to keep the peace.

On August 22nd, dramatic images started circulating on social media of a somewhat unusual-looking confrontation between someone in a full Spider-Man costume lunging towards and trying to punch a guy in the back of a pickup truck outside of Minneapolis City Hall.

I'm here today with the photographer who shot the most iconic of those images that circulated online, Chris June.

Two vehicles of Christian Crusaders led by January 6th insurrectionist Jake Long swerved unexpectedly and abruptly through police barriers onto the sidewalk outside Minneapolis City Hall on Saturday, according to Minnesota Police Chief Bill Peterson.

Armed with a large cross, American flag, and a sign that said, Jake Lang Loves Black People But Hates N-Word, Lang shouted through his megaphone at the protesters who began climbing on his vehicle.

Videos appear to show Lange's crusaders fighting back by spraying the protesters with mace, when suddenly a man dressed as Spider-Man climbed on the back bumper and attempted to pull the racist sign from Lange's hands.

On riot charges, Hennepin County Attorney Scary Moriarty, according to the article that I have here in front of me from Fox 9, said the protester dressed up as Spider-Man who was arrested during the rally does face charges.

But Moriarty said her office was declining felony charges against Edward Jake Lang related to his rally outside of the Minneapolis City Hall over the weekend, saying we didn't have a path forward for felony charges to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

A review of the extensive evidence of communication and logistical coordination between the Minneapolis Police Department and Lange's security detail.

Now, Moriarty did, of course, condemn Lange and his rally, writing that his actions on Saturday were despicable and disgusting.

The best way to have done that would have been to not go and post that online to draw attention to it.

A crowd of counter protesters showed up anyways as Lange arrived outside the Minneapolis City Hall on Saturday and everything descended into chaos.

So Love was arrested along with three other counter protesters.

Jake Lang, he mentioned him, went from Detroit to Minneapolis the next day and was arrested.

WCCO-TV writing, "The Hennepin County Attorney's Office says it will not file felony charges against Jake Lang, the far-right activist who was arrested for attempting to incite a riot outside Minneapolis City Hall on Saturday.

Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty called Jake Lang's conduct on Saturday despicable and disgusting, adding that a lack of felony charges does not in any way condone his behavior." That was from WCCO-TV.

Another CBS News article, "Popular left-wing streamer Hasan Piker drew stiff criticism from prominent Democrats on Monday after arguing that some Jewish Americans' support for Israel is making antisemitism worse, leading one of his most prominent political allies, Democratic Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, to say that nobody speaks for him.
