In Skirmish, or in Miniatures Gaming, it's like, I made this because it's cool.

Especially with, like, fantasy games specifically because they're everyone knows there's already a million and that the thing that you want exists you don't you just have to find it and everyone's like nah fuck it i'm gonna make it and it might be the exact same thing as somebody else but there's a lack of pretense there and there is like a appreciation for just Again, if you made a game that was exactly the same as a game that came out last year, they would just be like, oh, that's great.
