miniature pig

I will caution the word teacup pig, because unfortunately, that is not a breed, and a lot of people refer to them because they think that they stay micro, like a Chihuahua you can put in your pocket, and they do not.

There are such thing as mini pigs.

They do exist.

Unfortunately, they're still gonna get to be 75 to 150 pounds full grown at about five years old.

So the micro teacup pocket pigs, it's really just terminology that is thrown out there, but doesn't really have any scientific background.

With mini pigs, they need to be a little bit stricter on the feed intake in order to maintain their body composition.

So they really need to eat about 2% of their body weight to maintain good condition, so no table scraps.

Keep them away from some extra treats.
