The snapshot is Java Edition Beta 1.9 pre-release, which makes no sense to me, but to you dudes Minecraft pros out there, good job.

It kind of makes sense.

Okay, let's talk through this.

So it's Java Edition.

It's beta.

It's 1.9, which is the version, and it's pre-release.

But first, let's start with their history.

On October 21st, 2021, Olraf, a game developer on Minecraft, stated that goat horns are not included in Java 1.18.

However, the proof of this no longer exists on Twitch, where the source is supposedly found.

I clicked the link on the wiki, and it takes you to nothing.

Until then, you have a bunch of mountains to climb and caves to dive into." I'm sure the community was bummed about that during the time.

However, several months later, Mojang finally delivered on the goat horn.

According to Minecraft.wiki, on April 27, 2022, in Java Snapshot 22w17a, the goat horn was added and has been in the game ever since.

Now that we know the history of these horns, let's figure out how you can acquire one, or perhaps two, or maybe a dozen, or as many as your little heart desires.

So if it feels like you're printing frog lights so much, the better.

Moving on to the news, we've got Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 pre-release 1 that was published on Tuesday, September 1st.

We've got some changes in the snapshot.

On macOS, exclusive full screen is now available again.

Arrows now bounce off endermen even when they teleport.

And abandoned camps located on biome edges can generate explorer maps leading to themselves.

Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 Prerelease 2 was published on Friday, September 4th.

Changes in Prerelease 2, they've removed the custom rendering of IME candidates.

We will see with time, as I said, but Realm News will be here to report on it when it does.

The next piece of news is that on September 4th, the Java team on Minecraft.net announced Minecraft 26.3 pre-release 2.

I will not be covering that because nothing interesting came from it.

I didn't really even know any content creators.

I'd only really just joined the Java scene.

I was decently big in the Bedrock scene, but in the Java scene, I didn't know anyone, and no one from the Bedrock scene had really gone.

What was I saying with this? Oh, yes, I really want to go to an American one, but I've always said this, it's so much easier for Americans or even Canadians to fly to Europe, as you mentioned there, than it is for Europeans to go to America.

And it feels like, and I have to explain this, it feels like the Europe one has a lot more people there, like content creators slash quote unquote smaller content creators because of the fact.

now i've always been a java person um i was lucky to work start on the office computer and build my way up um but i do think there's some very big factors now majority of people do play i believe on java um or is it bedrock okay yeah i think yeah more people on bedrock um so obviously and it's a more of a free version bedrock for people on console so it's more open for people bedrock but yeah and you know the price it's like a fair bit for java so you don't have to save up a little bit but in game wise which is i reckon where it comes down to is bedrock it's more of a in my opinion slow paced slower pace than java it's it's a more calm like they've done some good updates to it quite recently like they made the shaders look a lot nice naturally but when you go to java it's a lot more you can actually do in the game there's a lot more servers there's a lot more like pvp it's a lot you can it's a lot different pvp to bedrock um but i'm going so it's the most popular right so Well, I want to go, well, with most popular, so, like, most popular as in, like, player base, yes?

And was this on Java or Bedrock that you play on?

This is on Java.

I am exclusively a Java player.

A lot of the mods and stuff that I like are on Java.

I've been meaning to at least try Bedrock, but I keep brushing it off at some point for no good reason.

I don't know.

Anyways, let's move on to Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 9.

According to Minecraft.net article, Minecraft 26.3 Snapshot 9, written by the Java team and published on August 17th, states, Realm owners can now just render distance up to 25 chunks and separately configure render and simulation distance.

Then we have Endermen now take damage from projectiles while riding and won't teleport onto bedrock.
