Minardil

In Appendix B of The Lord of the Rings, The Tale of Years, we read that in 1540, King Aldemir of Gondor was slain in battle with the Harad and the corsairs of Umbar, but that the next year his son, Hayarmendakil II, defeated the men of Harad in battle.

And a hundred years later, in 1634, the corsairs of Umbar slew King Minardil at Pelagrir, and in 1810, we read in Appendix A, King Telumetar, remembering the death of Minardil and being troubled by the insolence of the corsairs who raided his coasts even as far as the Amphalos, gathered his forces and in 1810 took Umbar by storm.

In that war, the last descendants of Castamere perished, and Umbar was again held for a while by the kings.

Telumetar added to his name the title Umbardakil, but in the new evils that soon befell Gondor, Umbar was again lost and fell into the hands of the men of the Harad.
