So I think now would be a good time to... talk about his art and i wanted to pass the baton so to speak to you minion what do you what do you think about uh not just his history but how this sort of brings up his art now

so he he was known as the reverent artist because he did not follow the traditions of an artist with uh with the expectation of the cultural norms at the time so his figures his art were more like twisted you know ambiguous grotesque while they were animal some of his sculptures were like half animal half human but he didn't see them as as animals he saw them as like like creatures like like they're human like like they're a reflection of what was going on at the time.

So, and to go into, he made many pieces, but some of them he destroyed, and some of them were destroyed by the government at the time of the revolution.

So when the revolution happened, his work was so confrontational that that it actually affected the cultural policies of the government.

So that's why he stood out.

And some of his work reflected off of like Francis Bacon, Giacometti, and whoever was into that kind of art.

They were expressive artists, but Moises took it to the next level.
