Millersburg

Wanting to live way out here, isolated in the middle of nowhere, where sinister creatures roam, hidden, while civilized folks convince themselves those things don't exist.

Millersburg is about as beautiful as northern Michigan gets, if you love to look at the trees.

Which, of course, Mags does.

I knew how hard the winters would be, growing old out here, though, and wasn't as convinced as she seemed to be about this little house out in the sticks.

Both Mag's parents had been in Arizona for years for the same reason.

Siblings scattered around, there just wasn't anything keeping us in Indiana.

Millersburg happened to fit the bill for us after all these years preparing and Mag searching online for somewhere brand new to call home.

past two years here were the bliss she'd always known it would be for us even now i don't regret them i'd really expected to grow old together here now all i can hope is that she stays safe long enough to leave this place that's not going to happen for me And I wish now I'd seen all the warning signs for the danger they were.
