So immediately where my mind jumps to here is, so she's invited to the military base, wherever this US military installation is that they can't disclose.

There seems to be new powers, middle powers like Turkey, like Qatar, UAE and all these powers, Iran trying to have influence.

We also know in Africa, we've seen what happened in the Sahara with the anti-French sentiment and putting France away and losing the military bases.

And so my question is this.

Now, while Africa is diversifying and looking towards the east and looking towards Russia, looking towards Turkey and all of these places, Does it know why you mentioned the relation between development and security, mentioned economic relations, which I want to expand on.

Why is it the same formula? What is the essence of a military base? I understand Africa is, you know, so many issues, but Africa also has so many economic issues.

That's catching millions of views.

This omission in its self-conception is an act of American exceptionalism, giving visual credence to the fact that the country is one homogeneous polity, not a settler colonial state or a global superpower with overseas possessions that it continues to colonize to this day.

And yeah, you have bases in Africa, bases- In Greenland, bases all over the world

So at a time when Trump has made several overtures towards expanding the physical territory of the United States by either making Canada, Greenland, or Venezuela or a bunch of other places ostensibly the 51st state, uh, I think it's important that people know that the US is not only a military and economic empire, but a literal one, with control over a series of territories and their people that spans the Pacific and the Caribbean, as well as the aforementioned military bases.

So to start, I should say that that kind of ideological game about the US logo map is almost wholeheartedly ripped from the beginning of Daniel Immerwahr's How to Hide an Empire.

So Prince, you know, pulled in a lot of popular music when he was composing the Doom soundtrack, and it definitely fit the atmosphere of the game perfectly.
