So I thought about this and I've actually created a game.

You can call it a game, but it does, you know, Mileage Plus is a game, is a gamification of empty seats.

And it basically, there were so many people with miles that when United Airlines went bankrupt, Everybody knew that they would, people would still be loyal to this airline, even though they went into bad grits and they came back out because mileage.

So there's mileage, which is a gamification of extra seats, whatever you want to call it.

Maybe the, the label of the currency is different.

You know, you're spending Mileage Plus points instead of Mileage Club.

Uh, I think I got that one right.

Uh, someone will surely yell at me in the comments if, if I, if I got thing, things mixed up.

There are different cool program quirks like companion pass that we can go into, but that is for a separate video.

Next up, we are covering United MileagePlus.

So different quirks about United.

They are very nice when it comes to partner award fees, so they don't pass on any of those carrier-imposed fuel surcharges on Star Alliance.

So for my business, I have a United card and whatever I charge on that United card, I'm getting miles for that goes right into my United Mileage Plus account.

So just to back up a little bit, I'd say whatever airlines you fly, even if you only flown them one time, sign up for their points, their miles program, whatever it might be, you know, Delta, it's SkyMiles, United is Mileage Plus, sign up for it.

Because sometimes, even if you, again, only have flown that airline once or twice and you normally fly a United, sometimes you can share points, you can move them around.

Along those same lines, You don't necessarily have to have that United Airlines business card, right? You could have, say, a Chase Sapphire card or a Capital One Venture card where you're earning points there.

It's a big United hub.

Um, get a United MileagePlus card and start charging absolutely every single thing you can on that credit card and start building miles.

Start to try to work on status.

Try to work on building up those miles so you can use them for the trip.

Uh, let's move on to some United cardholder discount data.

For years, United has given cardholders and flyers with MileagePlus status expanded award availability, and now they've taken that to the next level.

There are bigger discounts, additional discounts, and they bring business class awards to Europe from 200,000 miles each way to as low as 72,000 miles each way.

United, unlike, or like other airlines, has gotten much stingier with allowing its partners like Air Canada Aeroplan or A&A Mileage Club to book Polaris business class seats.
