phases of hip-hop, and he managed to ride that wave where he always had an original production piece, right? When him and Chad Hugo were doing their thing, I think was when they were in their Heim, like, Timberland in his time, I mean, undeniable, right? Try making a drum beat sound as good as Timberland's.
55:09
To this day, it's just like you just don't know what a secret recipe was.
55:14
Metro Boomin, I think his production style is solid.
55:18
I don't know if he's best of all time, but I think some of those beats that he's made over the years really hold their own.
55:24
Um, man, Kanye West, uh, Kanye West is one.
55:30
I mean, I know, uh, as of late, he's, his mental health is kind of messed up the quality of his work.

72:48
carried on until I was like 48.
6:53
Are you pu- are you w- going up a path, or are you actually doing things like where you're using your upper body and pulling yourself up cliffs?
7:01
There's a lot of vertical.
7:02
Whenever you do a big mountain, there's, there's, there will be vertical obstacles.
7:05
Uh, the first, a big one is right at the beginning, the North Col.
7:10
And if you go back, this is the route that, uh, George Mallory climbed, the guy who said, "I'll climb Everest because it's there." Um, and ultimately, he perished on the mountain.
7:18
But, uh, that was his route.
7:20
And the North Col, is you, you start out with a difficult problem.
8:20
You wanna bring some color to that? Why did you think the third s- the third step is easier?
61:57
I love that about you.
61:58
Yeah.
61:58
Well, and, uh, where does it rank? I, I don't know, you know? It's, it's one of those things now, it, I'll forever be the guy who climbed Everest.

5 MINS LATER

67:13
Clip 12.
67:15
I was gonna speak last night.
67:17
It was a well-established event at the USA House.
67:20
A simple conversation, discussion after Trump's speech.
67:24
They made sure that I didn't.
10:52
Are you p- are you w- going up a path, or are you actually doing things like where you're using your upper body and pulling yourself up cliffs?
11:00
There's a lot of vertical.
11:01
Whenever you do a big mountain, there's, there's, there will be vertical obstacles.
11:04
Uh, the first, a big one is right at the beginning, the North Col.
11:08
And if you go back, this is the route that, uh, George Mallory climbed, the guy who said, uh, "I'll climb Everest because it's there." Um, and ultimately, he perished on the mountain.
11:17
But, uh, that was his route, and the North Col is...
11:20
You, you start out with a difficult problem.
12:17
So bring us- you wanna bring some color to that? Why did you think the third, the third step is easier?
21:52
How would you describe it, and do you think it's working?
21:54
It (sighs)...
21:55
Well, is it working? That's a, that's a tough one because if you're trying to just combat the violence in Chicago, well most of the violence in Chicago is Black on Black.
22:04
The, uh, the, the, gangs are all fractured and splintered.
22:07
The big gangs, you know, the, um, Gangster Disciples, Black Disciples, uh, they used to have strong central leadership and now they're just a bunch of cliques.
22:15
It's not uncommon to have a clique from the Black Disciples fighting another clique from the Black Disciples.
22:21
And then they go and they shoot them, they shoot the wrong guys, and you get a bunch of new vendettas.
24:55
Yeah.
17:07
you just show up at the base and, and go.
17:10
No, no, um, we spent a long time at the base, frankly acclimatizing, and then we went up to, uh, what is called the North Col.
17:19
Uh, col is just kind of fancy climber-speak for a saddle in, uh, one of the ridge lines that comes off the, uh, the north-east ridge.
17:26
And, uh, we went up to, uh, uh, the North Col at 23,000 feet.
17:30
First slept there without oxygen to kind of, uh, really test our acclimatization, and then went back down, got some rest and waited for the weather window.
17:41
Uh, and the weather window was gonna be one day, so we had to climb up through three days of, uh, uh, really, uh, two and a half days of bad weather and, uh, then after that, uh, uh, we, we made it to Camp Three, uh, in bad weather, and just like clockwork with the... we had a really good forecast.
18:00
At midnight, the wind stopped and we left about an hour and a half, two hours later for the summit and, uh, summited in still air.

6 MINS LATER

23:46
Do those guys work for themselves or they work for a service? Um, and do you think you maybe saw a mountain that's not gonna be the same at some point in the next few years?
