And you know, it stars Mike Myers, who is also Austin Powers.

And the Austin Powers theme song is this old Quincy Jones song called Soul Bossa Nova.

And Quincy Jones is the subject of next week's brand new episode of our sister show, Disgraceland.

And I think if you are a fan of comedy in general and like the history of comedy, the cast included Eugene Levy, Martin Short, Paul Schaefer, who went on to be David Letterman's band leader, Don Scardino, who's an incredible director, Andrea Martin, Victor Garber, Jane Eastwood, Gilda Radner, Dave Thomas, and Rudy Webb.

And it features interviews with a bunch of other comedy aficionados, folks like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mike Myers, Janine Garofalo.

So I knew absolutely nothing about this production of Godspell.

I'm not gonna lie, I don't think I knew anything about Godspell in general, except for the song Day by Day.

Her incisive interview questions are enough to make anyone crumble into that no-lipped-I'm-gonna-cry face.

Even Mike Myers pretended to do it.

Oh, and a child behave.

Baba was born in 1681, the child of pilgrims, was bit by a vampire at the Plymouth settlement and outlived all her buckle-hatted brethren and cistern.

And maybe even creating a bigger wave out of that.

I mean, the Mike Myers commercial, I felt Canadian pride out of that.

I mean, I knew it was completely hogwash, but I watched it and I'm like, that's brilliant.

Like I had to, you know, as much as I can, when I get emotional and I'm angry, I mean, in hockey, in a game, you're in playoffs.

And I watched this.

And I'm like, the opposite is true where you can build up Canadian pride, right? Or not the opposite, just a similar way of doing it.

And the Mike Myers thing really instilled this elbows up.

We're going to stand on Canadian values and go that way.

Yeah, but I said I met Austin Powers, and then you said, "That's Eddie Murphy." [laughs]

But also, his name is Mike Myers.

His name is Austin Powers.

Good old Mike Myers, Mr. Dr.
