Wait, there's still a USA Today? There is a blue wave forming, at least relative to the House.

That last number quoted was 97% chance of the Democrats taking the House, and this idiot, a Democrat, at least, at least it's, that's what it says in his collar, is, is endorsing a Republican because, wait for this, because Golden worked together with Mike Lawler to advance the Northeast Lobstermen Protection Act.

And one of the big problems that the Chinese have is the same problem that we have, which is the situation in Iran.

Then given your concerns about China, what do you think or hope realistically will come from the meeting with the president and Xi tomorrow?

I think the president needs to be very firm with President Xi about AI and in particular about this issue related to rogue agents and threats to national security and that there will be zero tolerance for any type of incursion by China.

So unclear if we will see him YOLO in either Igor's way of talking about it or my way of talking about it, but we'll be watching this hearing just a few hours from now.

You know, I'm also reading what you've been writing around A dynamic that is happening in the House in one of the top contested races on the map, New York's 17th congressional district, where I happen to be from, where Mike Lawler is running for reelection.

And he got an interesting endorsement from a Democratic, outgoing Democratic House member, Jared Golden of Maine.

Can you talk about the dynamics around Lawler? Because there is something really fascinating here with Democrats wanting to take back the House, but a lot of private griping around one of the seats that should be ripe for them doing it.

And yet people like working with this guy, it seems.

Exactly.

I mean, Lawler is one of those Republicans that actually has a lot of Democratic friends.

And so what happened after Golden said that he was endorsing him was, of course, you know, we got essentially the meltdown of the Democratic Party and that you have a lot of House Democrats that immediately denounced Golden for doing that.

OK, I am going to talk very quickly in a not going to fly away about New York 17.

Mike Lawler's district where Democrats seem to be spending very little money to defeat somebody that Hakeem Jeffries has said is definitely going to lose.

This is a top priority for Democrats.

It is a Kamala Harris seat and Republicans are outspending Democrats.

And if they have an opinion, probably it's Democrats who don't like him.

And Democratic Congressman Jared Golden, speaking of endorsements, has once again broken with his party by endorsing Mike Lawler, a Republican congressman from New York, who's in a battle to retain his seat.

Golden praised Lawler for his work in helping pass a bill to help lobstermen in Maine and elsewhere who are facing new federal restrictions.

Now, it's worth noting that Golden, a Democrat, has not endorsed the Democratic nominee for the Maine CD2 seat, Matt Dunlap.

I mean, if you think about it, in the last election, 2024, there were only three, three Republicans who won their seats in Kamala Harris districts.

So like in New York, Mike Lawler, Kamala Harris, and in Pennsylvania it was Brian Fitzpatrick and Kamala Harris, and then there was Don Bacon, uh, in Nebraska and Kamala Harris.

That's it.

I mean, that is crazy.

Well, maybe they can.

How do we make sure Mike Lawler loses by so much he can't get a job afterwards? I don't know.
