I was here in 2010 when Republicans took over the legislature.

And I watched as Mike Hubbard and Philip Bryan, the communications guy for Hubbard, the ALGOP and the chairman of the Alabama Republican Party, they responded to absolutely every single thing that Democrats were doing at the time with a press release.

And so I get what Doug Jones is doing.

Is this a winning issue, the data center thing? I mean, it doesn't seem like they're going to give up.

This is the this is going to be the biggest test Republicans have had in Alabama, certainly in a decade.

Yeah, and so, you know, what do you do there? I mean, we have a new chairman, but, you know, is this a Republican party? This isn't Bill Canary and Mike Hubbard plotting and incentivizing legislative races with a real, you know, game.

This seems, I don't know if they're, you know, this is the kind of challenge that the current Republican Party apparatus is really game tested for.

Yeah, it's definitely challenging.

I said, "Is, uh, Baron Coleman a former fed?" It says, "No, there's no evidence Baron Coleman is a former federal agent, FBI, or any other type of fed.
