Mike Herrera

Earlier this week, I got a note from a listener, as I sometimes do, asking me if I saw an infinite innings story in a given player.

In this case, listener Ken asked about Paito Mike Herrera.

"He would seem to have lots of infinite inning potential," wrote Ken.

And first, Ken, I thank you for your suggestion, and I apologize in advance for what I'm about to do with it.

So I remember finding an MXPX CD in like a local Christian bookstore.

And, you know, there's a picture of Mike Herrera on the cover with sleeve tattoos and all that.

I was probably eight years old.

uh and starting to get into like punk rock and metal and stuff and i remember running up to my mom with the cd and being like i'm gonna look like this one day and she's like over my dead body well she's still alive and we're good friends but i did uh you know i did stay true to that so i think i knew really early on that you know music was always enticing to me and um you know i went through different styles of music like played in like pop punk and metal bands and metalcore kind of everything in between um you know so it's been a little bit of a journey since then
