Yeah, I mean to... fire him immediately would obviously be a gigantic mistake.

I mean, I still think back to the, the festival in 2021 when Mike Elston had to fill in, obviously that didn't go very well.

Like you still need somebody to replace those things.

But I also agree that Chris Ash deserves to be criticized, which I think Marcus, without being like directing, calling out Chris Ash, he was very clear.

And then in the middle of the show, someone pointed out to us that Jim Harbaugh had a certain set of comments about the potential future of at least the offense and Mike McDaniel calling plays.

And now there's a pro football talk report from Florio that because of their 0-6, they're heading into a bye.

And the buzz is growing towards the Chargers firing Mike McDaniel and promoting Adam Gase.

So let's jump into all of that.

Let's start with the inception of this.

Basically, they stink in every facet of offense.

They, these two coordinators were going into very different situations.

With Chris O'Leary, he was going into a defense with a coaching staff that was pretty much already put together, that also featured a couple of superstars like Mike Elston and Steve Klinskal that was on the, the coaching staff.

And also had a lot of continuity on the football field with the players that were on the field that would have been in the system for a couple of years.

So all of those things absolutely made a big difference in how Chris O'Leary was going to be able to take over the mantle.

This was not too big for him.

He was able to meet the moment and perform exceptionally well.

But yeah, if Jim Harbaugh's gone, then those superstar coaches like Mike Elston, like Steve Klinskal, and looks like another one here like Chris O'Leary, probably gonna be gone just right along with him.

Yeah, and that's the hard thing, right? Like, even if you cr- you lose Chris, or keep Chris O'Leary, right? Which isn't impossible, right? They go hire an offensive-minded head coach.
