Mike Ekeler

Give us a subgenre, something that we can sink our teeth into.

I mean, he definitely seems like a guy that listens to some heavier music, but you know, that in itself is kind of ambiguous.

You could go a lot of different ways with heavy music.

You could go old school '90s thrash and be like, "Oh yeah, I like Metallica." It's like, okay, cool.

And at the Under Armour next camp, you know, Chris and I watched him go against Marcus Fakotu, the five-star defensive lineman, uh, who was at Orange Lutheran, transferred over to Sierra Canyon this past year.

And he did a really, really good job.

I, I would say he won that battle of those guys going one-on-one.

And this is, you know, just coming back from the islands, uh, having played basketball, really no experience in organized football.

I, I think special teams.

So they brought in Mike Ekeler, who had gone to Nebraska and in, had a pretty remarkable one-year turnaround of that, of that group, that special teams group.

So they brought him in, and expectations were really, really high.

Again, we liked everything we saw in the summer, in the spring, in the off season.

Dabo Sweeney, I think he might.

Well, we know Matt Rhule didn't want to chest bump Mike Ekeler.
