Mike Bennett

Um, I, I had several years of wondering what comes next, um, 'cause I was in AEW, and I was in ROH, and I had a tumor, and I had skin cancer, and I had this, and I had that.

And so, um, it was a lot of self-reflection, and luckily, I have a husband that's allowed me to just take my time to figure out, you know, what do I wanna do next? Um, and I finally have found something.

So now I am all in.

But before that, it was very much like, "Ah, I don't know.

Um, so I was just trying all different things.

And then I started doing indies.

And I was doing independent wrestling, and then I met my husband.

And there he was, and it was at Northeast Wrestling, and I was actually working with Matt Taven that night.

Sami Callihan defeated Steve Maclin.

Uh, Honor No More, which was Eddie Edwards, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, PCO, and Vincent, uh, with Maria Kanellis, uh, defeated Bullet Club of Ace Austin, Chris Bey, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson, and Hi- Hikuleo.

How do you say his name?

I, I don't know.

What are matches that really stand out to you that you've been a part of?

Um, some that really stand out to me, I'm, when I was doing some singles wrestling I had a really fun match against, um, Mike Bennett at, um, Rocky Mountain Pro.

And that was a really fun one.

We got to do a lot of, a lot of, uh, cool stuff, and just that one was one of my favorites.

um always ask for the picture always try like if you see a wrestler and it's casual happenstance you're not stalking their hotel no no no like that yeah You don't even need a picture, an interaction.

When I was going to WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, I was waiting at the check bag line, happened to see Mike Bennett there.

Didn't ask for an autograph or anything like that.

I remember he was just getting back on the road.

Okay.

And then from there I spent about, I wanna say, three years at Showcase, and then I moved on to train with Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, and Vincent at their school about five minutes away from where-

Right
