What I learned about Elvis, and the mainstream information tells us that he's obviously Christian, he loves gospel music, and it doesn't really go much further than that as far as spiritual beliefs, but what can we learn from his childhood?

Well, it was pretty much fated, as I say.

I wonder if the, if Elvis had any choice but to be Elvis, 'cause a- again, it's all right there, and, uh, nothing is really hidden.

It's just been overlooked, or we all...

People have an image.

We do that all the time.

We have an image of our rock stars, politici- even our own parents that's not the whole truth.

All the occult practices and high strangeness surrounding Elvis aside, he had this profoundly magical effect on people and audiences that until that point we had never really seen before, right?

What was then for you the spark to finally create Aeon Byte Gnostic Radio?

Yeah.

Probably my interest in it.

Once I became interested in it a long, long time ago and started studying it and so forth, I didn't know much about it.

And I was reading the books and I wanted to get the takes of, you know, people who were experts.

Again, Elaine Pagels, translators of the Nag Hammadi Library, that, you know, treasure trove of 55 Gnostic texts or something.

mostly gnostic texts and so i decided the best thing was to contact them directly and ask them questions you know that's what we used to do 20 years ago right uh call them email them all that yeah i loved your work and this uh i have questions but then i decided well as uh they say uh in alcoholics anonymous if you get it you got to give it away or you could say if you have no it's not gnosis until you give it away it has to be expressed it has to be shared not you're not there to save anybody convert somebody but help somebody wake up i think that's the goal we can't wake others up but we can provide them with the means if they so choose to so i said well yeah i'm going to ask them these questions why don't i record them this is before the podcast era And I said, at least I'll have this stored and I'll put it on my website and it could be valuable for somebody.

So I'd really like to know why A, Elvis Presley and B, what does it have to do with the occult Gnosticism magic as such in our social culture?

Uh, what was it that was so special about Elvis's birth?

Well, like I write in the book, it's almost like Elvis was fated to be Elvis.

He could not not be Elvis, and it started from the moment of his birth, perhaps before.

Uh, and, uh, the, one of the themes in the book is can we escape our fate, or can we make a destiny? Are we all like, just like Oedipus or Elvis and everything's set in stone? And, uh, like you said, from when he was born in his little shack in Tupelo, Mississippi, January 8th, 1935, uh, they were so poor that, uh, they couldn't afford a hospital.

They couldn't afford a midwife, so Gladys, his mother, is having a very, uh, challenging labor in their little house that has no indoor plumbing or anything, and the father Vernon goes outside to have a cigarette, just to chill out.

And all of a sudden this blue alien light appears over the house, and this light of course freaks out poor Vernon.

Uh, suddenly all sound is muffled.

But do you think he would, if he wasn't so tightly controlled by the system, that a lot more of these messages would have got out, not just through the people around him, but that he would've been able to sit in front of a microphone and espouse a lot more of this?

Do his voice.

Yeah, yeah.

It was, uh-- I just found it today.

I just found it today.

Uh, I don't know what else to say.

I, I tried practicing some sort of intro.

The best I came up after doing this was, uh, quoting Gandalf, "End? No, the journey doesn't end here.

Well, I think I-

But most people don't, they don't really understand what they're seeing, but it, it seems to resonate with people on a really deep level.

Yeah, for sure.

I mean, without a doubt, uh, Gnostic-minded people like Philip K. Dick and William Burroughs and Carl Jung really have influenced our modern culture.

They were hugely influence in the spiritual and artistic vibe of so many Gen X and baby boomers and even millennials.

I mean, everybody has been influenced by Blade Runner, Total Recall, Minority Report.

Those ideas are as relevant today, and Philip K. Dick and his, uh, techgnosticism are behind it.

And, uh, these filmmakers and artists and writers continue to pour these very Gnostic ideas, whether it's, uh, Black Mirror or the show Silo or Severance.

I know he had a, he had a twin brother that, that didn't survive, that he lost his twin brother

What is it about Elvis that people have questioned for so long? Was it in part maybe because his fan base was so rabid that they just couldn't accept it?

I would say so.

I think the only other star I see is maybe Jim Morrison.

But that ...

Yeah, that's really it.

Only Elvis.

Yeah, it was such a huge shock to the country, [clears throat] and it was, it was a shock to the psyche of the country.

'Cause there were some really interesting stories.

Mm-hmm.

And again, things change.

Uh, around summer of 2022, I had some incredible synchronicities, visions.

Uh, uh, I did some ayahuasca ritual that really opened my channels of communication.

And all of the sudden, this voice came out of nowhere, this urge from, uh, this being called Elvis.

A muse, uh, I don't know what to call it, but it was, uh, it was dominant.

And I could not get Elvis out of my head, even though I barely knew anything about him.
