Midwest Book Review

Yeah.

So my, for writing that gets noticed, my in-house publicist for New World Library took a lot of the submitting to, you know, Publishers Weekly, which I was covered in there, and Library Journal, and Midwest Book Review, and all that, and I got covered in there.

And They said that for a book like mine, a writing guide with like aspects of memoir throughout, that it is important to have the reviews because that goes to the libraries and the libraries then buy based on the reviews.

So I thought that was interesting because I didn't realize that that was a big purpose of it.

Well, you know, actually, I'm proud to say that I just learned a couple of weeks ago that this book is the winner of a 2026 Pinnacle Book Achievement Award in the self-health category.

It's been unreservably recommended by Midwest Book Review, so it's gotten some really good feedback.

Excellent.

I think that it's a book also that can really be shared with others.

go to

libraries and be reviewed in in Library Journal, in Booklist, in Kirkus, in Midwest Book Review.

So they're going to rely on those to tell them where to find the books for their young readers.

So it was a risk.
