And in addition to the kind of pedagogical and teacher training type work on language and literacy that you do, you are One of the foremost commentators, I would say, in the Anglophone world on the current situation and environment in Yemen, and particularly given the scholarship that you've contributed, a wonderful essay, in the Sanctions as a War collection on the blockade and sanctions on Yemen, and also recently a really important and excellent essay that you co-authored with Alexandra Allweiss, Think Tanks as Stenographers of the State, Crafting the War on Yemen Through an Imperial Discourse, that perhaps some of what you discussed there will be to our conversation today in a wonderful issue, Volume 35 of Middle East Critique, edited by Issa Blumi, great historian of Yemen who's been on this program before.

Uh, more recently, I have been writing about, um, the, I guess, what we just discussed, what's been happening in West Asia.
Bikrum GillGUEST

Uh, I co-edited a roundtable with Helia Vartaki, uh, The, um, uh, uh, Ramadan War: Changing World Order, like the changing world order components, like imperial versus sovereign futures, um, where we also have our own article in there, uh, "The Force of Law and the Law of Force." You can find that at Middle East Critique.
Bikrum GillGUEST

Um, I would say, yeah, and I've been, um, working on this, um...
Bikrum GillGUEST

I mean, obviously Helia has been more the driving force of it, but I've just been helping out on that Still Minaa documentary series, which I think is really important.
