So basically, the way they were wanting to do is it would search and index all your – well, actually, no. Here's what it does is Controversial AI feature in Windows 11 that periodically captures and analyzes desktop screenshots leading to significant privacy and security backlash.

So it doesn't just index your documents.

But it's gonna need it if it's gonna record everything that you say.

That's right, there's a couple of new audio intelligence features called Live Rewind and Siri Recap, which are kind of like Windows Recall, but instead of only recording what happens on your computer, it's recording everything that's happening to you in real life, if you want it to.

Now, Apple does have a pretty good track record when it comes to data privacy, and they say these features are private by design.

And nothing that was ever designed to be private, uh, broke later, so this seems fine.
