Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer

That was the world that I got into in information technology.

When I got my MCSE NT four point0, and yes, I know I've said it a lot, but I'm really missing those days right now.

[laughs] Like, like you could walk into an office environment and you're like, "Oh, wow, hey, look at this really fancy, expensive printer.

Wouldn't it be nice if everybody in the office had the ability to access that printer so you only had to buy one good printer instead of fifty really crappy ones?" Oh, that's nice.

Everyone knows Microsoft has public certifications.

The old MCSE, the Azure certifications, those are public.

You can buy study materials, book an exam at a testing center, put the badge on your LinkedIn.

But Microsoft also runs internal certifications for its own engineers and support staff.
