Michiana Shores

I'm the current state representative from District 9, which is northern part of LaPorte County, eastern part of Porter County.

So Chesterton, Porter, Michigan City, excuse me, Long Beach, Michiana Shores.

So my history is been married to my wife, Debbie, for 47 years as of last month.

We have two kids, four grandchildren.

And it wasn't like growing up.

I was like, man, I want to be a firefighter.

Um, I, we moved to Michiana shores.

I was on the town board there from 91 to 96.

But yeah, I don't get to Oaklawn that much often.

I kind of stay now in my little 10-minute bubble around Michiana Shores.

You know, I'm constantly, like architecture has become a quest to, if I'm feeling stuck, if I'm feeling like I don't have it in front of me, a trick that I've learned in the last year or two is I just, I do something novel.

Like I see something I haven't seen before.
