Uh, I got there in 2007 as the deputy chancellor under Michelle Rhee and worked for three and a half years under her, and then when she left, um, I was appointed chancellor.

And the district that we inherited was one that had been in a free fall.

It was in a death spiral.

And, um, I did this video, it was called The, The Patronage Network, because that's when, you know, you could really see, I mapped it all out, all the people that he had hired in the network that they're working with in Louisiana and other states.

So, I mean, Michelle Rhee in DC.

So this is a, a, a large scale network.

The patronage network is not just Teach for America.
