Okay, honestly, I want to get back to the magic, but while we're on this, I just, I have to, I 1000% agree with you.

It's like either give us like 90s Dolly Parton, give us 90s Michelle Branch, Jenny Lewis, Fiona Apple.

Um, there's a, there's a, there's a Poppy song I did, which is, which I think is like really cool and maybe is, in my opinion, underrated, um, called Vital.

And it's, it's um, it's like a really 2000s, like Michelle Branch-

Then you're like, OK, I'm starting to like really emotionally connect with music.

For me, that was Michelle Branch.

Number one.

Um, she is the reason.

Uh, and then I, so yeah, Michelle branch, Avril Lavigne, huge influence on me.

I, when I was learning guitar, I learned every song from that record.

But yeah, it really is just this production style.

Whether it be that... uh the who was it uh two weeks ago that you guys were michelle branch right and i like that kelly kelly clarkson's gonna come later who has a lot of songs that sound like this and stuff like that so um yeah so um my well let me see my four is still in play how about you guys Yep, mine is too.

But go ahead, John, what do you got? Okay, my four is almost the polar opposite of this song, a song that musically you kind of can't deny, but lyrically was horrendous.

or the piano I said it's hard she's really talented she's in the back of a she's in the back of a movie she's really rocking out the accordion in that video is supposed to convey the whole thousand miles motif I think is what's going on there um the lyrics are very like 15 year olds Diary so I can't like co-sign them which is what moves it down at number four but uh it's just funny to have two songs that like exist in the same lane right like radio friendly um pop songs, right? And then I feel like we're having a lot of these.

We had Leigh-Anne Rimes last week, and then Michelle Branch the week before, and Christina Aguilera before that, Pink, right? So we're getting a lot of these female artists who are coming with different lanes, which is awesome to get a variety of things.

I think for me, it just kind of came down to the fact that the whole meme-ness and, you know, put your smile on your face was from the music of Vanessa Carlton.

You would want to see Britney Spears there.

You would want to see, like, Michelle Branch stopping by.

And then I remember I always wanted to be in Times Square.

I never got to go.

largely to do with myspace and myspace's connection to the music industry i think hollywood undead came up on like an episode we were talking about recently where it's like that was your gateway into things like jeffree star if you dared to go down that route and if you cared about that which i i personally didn't but that was a time period in and of itself but millennial pop music In a way, to me, this is what I mean when I say it was the largest purveyor of monoculture and it still exists to this day.

The reason why millennial music is still so relevant is if you go to a grocery store, if you go to a gas station, you will hear a Michelle Branch song.
