It was a very dark, rainy, I'm going to say November-ish night in Vancouver.

And November in Vancouver feels like it lasts for about five months.

You forget sort of what light is.

And, you know, I was I was just kind of in it.

I was just in the winter mode.

Yeah, well, it's me playing solo tonight.

I've got an amazing band in town, but I'm doing some solo shows just in the lead up to my album Green and Trying, which is coming out in a month, September 25th.

So, yeah, I think there's like a bit of like 70s singer songwriter vibe.

I like to tell a lot of stories on stage.

I'll do a lot of my own originals.

I'll do some of my favorite covers, some like Canadiana classics and then some other stuff as well.

Is that your plan as well for Vancouver, Toronto?
